10 Reasons why “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” is worth to add in your must watch list

Following my recommendation article about So I Married the Anti- fan, here I am recommending another rom-com drama again mga bes! I just love to watch this kind of series as it lifts my mood with kilig feels.

So, if you love watching rom-com dramas like me, these are 10 reasons why you need to consider Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha adding it to your must-watch list.

1. Another masterpiece from tvN

Yes! Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is another masterpiece from tvN just like my previous recommendation article about The Devil Judge which has left a great impression on viewers.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha premiered last August 28 with a strong viewership rating of 6.8 percent nationwide according to Nielsen Korea and it also took first place in its time slot across all channels! wow! very impressive isn’t it?

2. A Healing and Heartwarming Drama

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha depicts a comical and healing love story of a woman from the city and a man who is a professional at everything. It is a drama remake of the movie Mr. Hong.

You can already feel the warmth of the drama with its pilot episode. The drama has a lot of realizations and lessons in life as well as the backstories of every character, it’s really inspirational and very meaningful. The healing story of friendship, family, and marriage will touch your heart.

3. A Rom-Com Drama comeback of Shin Min Ah

Shin Min Ah is back on the track again to play a lead role in a rom-com series!

She portrays the role of Yoon Hye Jin, an intelligent and beautiful dentist who opens a Dental Clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin. Shin Min Ah is perfect for this role as she is charming and has a cheerful personality.

Her last rom-com series was in the drama, Oh My Venus alongside So Ji Sub in 2015.

4. Second Male Lead No More for Kim Seon Ho

After breaking our hearts for being a second male lead in his role in Start-Up as Han Ji Pyeong, He is now finally taking up this role as the leading man of Shin Min Ah.

Kim Seon Ho plays the role of the master of all trades, Hong Du Sik in this drama who is willing to help others in times of need. Brace yourselves, as his captivating charm will make you fall in love with him even more.

5. Perfect Chemistry of the “Dimple Couple”

6. Other Lovable Characters

The drama is not complete without its lovable supporting characters, the people around Hye Jin and Du Sik. The whole drama is so colorful because of them. The halmonis (grandmother in Korean), the whole neighborhood, and the charming second male lead, Ji Seong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi) will captivate your heart. Every one of them has their story to tell that you shouldn’t be missed.

Aside from Hye Jin and Du Sik’s tandem, other tandems from this drama will shine as well. you’ll surely ship Mi Seon to Eun Chul and you might want to root for Nam Sook and Cheon Jae’s ship to sail too.

If you’re a K-pop lover as well you’ll relate to fangirling moments here. Nam Juri and Yoon Hye Jin are both Hacker, the fandom name of the idol group, DOS in the drama. Their reactions while watching their favorite group’s performance in such a mood!

10. Soothing OSTs

K-drama is not complete without its beautiful OSTs thus, one of the soothing OSTs of this drama is the song by car, the garden titled “Romantic Sunday”. When you listen to it, you can’t help to sing this part:
