4 thoughts on “LIST: Mind-blowing mystery-thriller Korean dramas with details

  1. I have watched several of the dramas recommented above and here are my own recommentations.

Do watch Children of Nobody and the Watcher. These are the two most suspenceful, interesting and consistent to their gerne dramas from the above list. Neither the plot twists nor the finales of these two dramas are predictable, and both dramas retain the thriller /mystery mood from the first to their last episode. Two of the best crime Kdramas ever.

The Lies Within (2019) is the sickest of all KDramas I have ever watched. The end of this drama left me wonderiing about the mental state of its writers! I don’t think that 15 y.o -which is the minimum age for viewership – are able to watch this without getting some sort of psychological damage.

Tell Me What You Saw (2020) Almost laughable as its story progressed. It started dynamically but after episode 4 all sort of surreal and unresonable things started happening out of the blue which spoiled completely the plot . This drama should’ve come with the following disclaimer:The Korean professionals ( policemen) depicted on this drama are not in reality sooooo stupid!

Signal (2016) one of the best crime fantasy dramas. Many other dramas tried to imitate it but without that much of success. I’m watching now Kairos (2020) that has a similar story plot but it lacks the character development and the excellent performances of Signal.

Thanks for the other recommentations. They are super useful during the total covid lockdown that we are still in.

    1. I like Nobody Knows, although the storyline is a bit dragged but it is another best crime drama. I also suggest to watch The Good Detective. I will give it 5/5 for story, acting, mystery

  2. I loved duel.
Yang Se Jong is an amazing actor who really has me fooled in the series. I loved to solve the puzzle about his background with him. Even though Duel was kind of brutal and some scenes could have been more reasonable, I still recommend it. Especiif you want to see a handsome villain who turns out to be different than expected.
