PH Heartriders take another “Step Closer with Seo In Guk” at his BENCH fan meeting in Manila!
Seo In Guk reunites with his PH Heartriders for the third time!
Following the success of his “Heart Cookie” fan meeting last year, Seo In Guk once again made PH Heartriders happy at his “Step Closer with Seo In Guk” fan meeting in Manila at the Main Atrium of SM Mall of Asia last August 22 and created wonderful memories together. The fans warmly welcomed him with loud cheers as he serenaded them with his song, My Love (English version).
“I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve been here, and I’m actually really grateful to BENCH for bringing me here,” he expressed his gratitude towards BENCH and the fans who keep on supporting him.
Seo In Guk was announced as BENCH’s newest brand ambassador last March and as the Global BENCH Setter, he shared his personal style preferences, revealing that he particularly enjoys casual looks, such as the outfit he wore during the event. “But if I have to go somewhere important or if I have an important meeting, then I do like the semi-formal style,” he shared.
According to Seo In Guk, it is easy to find both casual and semi-formal styles at BENCH, which he considers one of the brand’s great qualities. He also added that the outfit he wore that day was perfect for his special “date” with the PH Heartriders.
He recently starred as Park Kyeong Nam in a Netflix series, Boyfriend on Demand, wherein the story is about dating. When asked what a perfect date is for him and what characteristic of a person finds him attractive, he said it’s someone who communicates well and understands him, and a perfect date for him is a simple and easy-going date.
On the other hand, Seo In Guk also starred as Kang Si Woo in See You at Work Tomorrow, and he shared what he likes about his character. He said he is serious and passionate about work, but on the contrary, when it comes to the person he loves, he becomes soft and sweet. He also shared his advice to Kang Si Woo: “I know it’s very cool to be like very strict and very serious about work but, if you were a little bit easygoing then you can also see just how beautiful things in life.”
Last year, Seo In Guk, together with his co-stars from Boyfriend on Demand, traveled to Cebu, Philippines, to film the drama. He shared that he was very happy during his time there and even took a photo while out at sea. He also expressed his desire to return to Cebu in the future, fondly remembering his experience in the Philippines.
Moreover, PH Heartriders took their step closer to Seo In Guk and played games with him. Seo In Guk gamely accepted the challenge of speaking in Tagalog in a tongue twister game where he was asked to say, “Sinangag, Sinigang, Sisig, Seo In Guk”; it was fun watching him. Seo In Guk enthusiastically took on the challenge and remarkably did well.
Lucky Heartriders got a Good Morning message, Sweet Dreams Message, took a selfie with him, and the luckiest of them all – A Heartrider who got the chance to have eye contact with him.
Towards the end of the show, the fans prepared a special video message to Seo In Guk expressing their love and appreciation for the actor. He was visibly touched by the heartfelt gesture and shared his gratitude, saying, “I’m so touched. It was so interesting that I could see some people that are actually right in front of me and in the video. I’m very grateful that you’re here with me to make all these beautiful memories.”
For his last performance, Seo In Guk sang the all-time favorite song of the fans – All For You. We were so happy to see him in the flesh again. Ahead of the show, he made his appearance as well in the Wish Bus, where he performed the English version of My Love.
