Viu Unveils First Look at The Way Back to You Starring AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon, and Michael Sager

Viu officially announced their new upcoming original romantic comedy starring AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon, and Michael Sager.
This marks as a reunion for the trio since their appearance in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition as a highly anticipated love triangle between Julia (AZ Martinez), Tristan (Ralph De Leon), and Patrick (Michael Sager), caught between the pull of first love and the realities of present-day love.
Premise of The Way Back to You
Set in a fictional town known for its onion farms, the series trades city life for a grounded provincial backdrop, using its warm, witty, and hopeful tone to balance humor and heart while exploring the unexpected turns of coming home.
As past connections resurface, the characters must confront lingering feelings and decide if an old flame still has a place in their present. It is an emotionally resonant tale of love, family, and the constant tug-of-war between the past and the present.
The Way Back to You is directed by JP Habac, known for his notable work I’m Drunk, I Love You, which centers on character-driven storytelling. Rein Entertainment will handle the upcoming series’ production, with Shugo Praico serving as the Creative Head, and a team with a grounded, distinct Filipino sensibility.
