On March 7, Prain TPC, Lee Se Young’s agency, revealed that the actress received a casting offer to play the role of Rashta, a runaway slave who became Sovieshu’s mistress in the upcoming webtoon-based fantasy romance series, The Remarried Empress.
It is a webtoon-based series that tells the story of an intelligent empress of the Eastern Kingdom named Navier Ellie Trovi who agrees to divorce the emperor after finding out that he has a lover. She remarries and continues to live as an empress elsewhere.
Lee Se Young is remarkable for her roles in the dramas, Hit the Top, A Korean Odyssey, The Crowned Clown, Doctor John, Memorist, Kairos, the hit historical series, The Red Sleeve, The Law Cafe, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract, What Comes After Love, and recently starred in Motel California alongside Na In Woo.
Moreover, it was previously announced that Lee Jong Suk, Shin Min Ah, and Ju Ji Hoon received a casting offer to portray the roles of Heinrich, Navier, and Sovieshu, respectively in the said upcoming drama.
