His acting journey started in 2013. Na In Woo debuted in the musical, Bachelor’s Vegetable Store, and he officially debuted in 2015 in the series, Shine or Go Crazy, wherein he played the role of Sewon.
His dream of becoming an actor
In an interview with his former agency, CUBE Entertainment, Na In Woo shared why he wanted to become an actor. According to him, when he was little, he watched dramas and thought about the actors. They expressed feelings that he even didn’t know, and they were gorgeous and empathized with him. That’s when he realized that he wanted to be like them someday and he has come this far since then.
He loves rock and metal music

He first came across electric guitars during his first two years of high school and started collecting electric guitars when he was in college. He gave his electric guitars names too. The red one is Jadu, the blue is Bada, the white one is Hana, and he named his black electric guitar Guichan.

He studied in Canada
Wondering why he is so good at communicating with his international fans through English? It’s because he studied in Canada for about 4 years when he was at the age of 9 to 10. He shared in his interview with W Korea in 2021 that he always got a grade of 90 and above in English when he was a student.
He used to be a JYP Entertainment trainee
In episode 724 of Radio Star, Na In Woo shared the story of how he got to JYP Entertainment as a trainee. He said that when he went to Suwon Station to meet a friend, a lady grabbed his arm and gave him her business card. She was a casting director of SM Entertainment. He thought it was a good opportunity, so he went there for an audition but since he wasn’t good at dancing, he failed the audition. However, the casting director got a good impression of him, so she recommended him to JYP Entertainment.
Na In Woo got into JYP Entertainment and back then, they just started setting up the acting team and they were looking for actors. During his time in JYP, one of the trainees was Jeongyeon of Twice. He shared that nothing worked out for him, so JYP let him go. If that hadn’t happened, he could’ve been a member of GOT7 and DAY6.
He is the first actor of Cube Entertainment
Na In Woo joined Cube Entertainment in 2012 and he was the first actor of the said agency but earlier this year it was announced that he parted ways with them after 12 years. His contract with them ended last January 18.

During his interview with Esquire Korea in 2021, he said that his favorite actor is Kim Rae Won because Rae Won looks so cool to him having both a gentle and soft side together with a manly and masculine side.
He did a lot of adlibs in “River Where the Moon Rises”
When River Where the Moon Rises was on the verge of falling apart, In Woo received an offer to play the role of On Dal In the series as the replacement for the main lead. He revealed in an interview with W Korea in 2021 that he was also filming Her Bucket List at that time, but with his perseverance, he was able to film both works at the same time.
According to him, there were more days where he didn’t sleep because he would start filming for the drama in the morning, and film Her Bucket List all night. Since he immediately had to film a lot of scenes, there was no time to look at the script, the director allowed him to act freely and there were a lot of adlibs in the series. He revealed on the Radio Star that 80% of the scenes were improvision.
Those were the days when he lost 7-8 kg as well. He is such a hardworking person!

In his interview with Elle Korea, he confessed that he didn’t read the webtoon version of the series because he wanted to approach each role as if it were a brand-new character and he really pulled off his role here.
