Lee Se Young and Na In Woo confirm to star in upcoming romantic drama!
We will be seeing Lee Se Young and Na In Woo in a romantic drama together!
On June 13, MBC revealed that Lee Se Young and Na In Woo are confirmed to star in the upcoming romantic series, Motel California.
Motel California depicts the story of a woman who grows up in a countryside motel, called “Motel California”. When she turns 20, she leaves her hometown and becomes an interior designer. 12 years later, she goes back to her hometown and reunites with her first love. It is based in a 2019 novel titled, Home, Bitter Home.
Lee Se Young who recently starred as Park Yeon Woo in the hit rom-com series, The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract will play the role of Ji Kang Hee, an interior designer who returns to her hometown after 12 years and reunites with her childhood friend, Cheon Yeon Soo whom she fell in love with.
On the other hand, Marry My Husband star, Na In Woo transforms into a countryside veterinarian named Cheon Yeon Soo, a loyal childhood friend of Kang Hee who loves only one woman in his entire life.
According to the production team, the viewers can expect a refreshing and exciting new youth romance drama that brings nostalgia for everyone’s first love.
This 12-episode drama is slated to premiere in 2025. It is penned by writer Lee Seo Yoon and will be helmed by Directors Jang Joon Ho and Kim Hyung Min.
