One of the most anticipated Korean series has finally arrived on Netflix!

When Life Gives You Tangerines revolves around Ae Sun, “the remarkable rebel,” and Gwan Sik, nicknamed “unyielding iron,” who adores Ae Sun from the beginning and gives his all to her. It tells the story of their adventure through four vibrant seasons on Jeju Island.

2. The Perfect Chemistry of IU and Park Bo Gum

Since the announcement of this pairing, many fans have been so excited to see IU and Bo Gum together in this series because this is their first drama together. They first met in a commercial when they were teenagers and briefly worked together in their 20s when Bo Gum had his special appearance in IU’s drama, The Producers, and now, they are working together playing Ae Sun (IU) and Gwan Sik (Park Bo Gum) in this series.

From the script reading up to the release of their series, their overflowing chemistry is clearly seen. IU mentioned during the series’ press conference that she feels comfortable with Bo Gum and he is a good partner while Bo Gum said that thanks to IU, he was able to immerse himself in the character of Gwan Sik and also mentioned that it was fun working with IU. They both thought that it would be more fun if they had another chance to work again in the future.

Their acting prowess and their chemistry in this series are top-notch!
