Lee Jong Suk and Shin Min Ah in talks to star in webtoon-based fantasy romance series!
New potential K-drama pairing alert! We may be seeing Lee Jong Suk and Shin Min Ah in one drama together!
On December 10, Lee Jong Suk’s agency, Ace Factory announced that the actor received a casting offer to play the role of a prince of the Western Kingdom named Heinrich Alex Laszlo in the upcoming fantasy romance series, The Remarried Empress.
It is a webtoon-based series that tells the story of an intelligent empress of the Eastern Kingdom named Navier Ellie Trovi who agrees to divorce the emperor after finding out that he has a lover. She remarries and continues to live as an empress elsewhere.
Lee Jong Suk starred in the 2022 noir drama, Big Mouth alongside Im Yoona. He started his acting journey in 2010 with the series Prosecutor Princess and is remarkable for his roles in the dramas, I Can Hear Your Voice, Doctor Stranger, Pinocchio, While You Were Sleeping, W, The Hymn of Death, and Romance is a Bonus Book.
Last month, it was announced that he will star in the upcoming legal drama, Seochodong alongside Moon Ga Young and more.
On the other hand, on October 10, AM Entertainment, Shin Min Ah’s agency, revealed that the actress received an offer to star in the said series to play the role of Empress Navier.
Min Ah recently appeared in the rom-com series, No Gain No Love opposite Kim Young Dae. She is known for her irresistible charm and has shown her impeccable acting prowess in series such as, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, Arang and the Magistrate, Oh My Venus, Tomorrow With You, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, and Our Blues.
