“Unmasked” starring Kim Hye Soo and Jung Sung Il is coming exclusively to Disney+ on January 15!
An edge-of-your-seat Korean investigative thriller series is coming to Disney+ this January!
Unmasked tells the story of investigative journalists who are fighting for their careers after broadcasting a controversial story. To save their jobs, they have to accomplish an impossible task -uncover the identity of an insider who’s been leaking personal stories about the team and solve a twenty-year-old cold case involving a famous actor who disappeared without a trace.
Under the Queen’s Umbrella star, Kim Hye Soo plays the role of a tenacious presenter, Oh So Ryong, she passionately investigates cases that the police and prosecutors are unable to solve.
Jung Sung Il, who is notable for his roles in the series Our Blues and The Glory transforms into a rookie producer Han Do.
Actor Joo Jong Hyuk joins them and portrays the role of contractor Kang Ki Ho. He is remarkable for his role in the series, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and recently appeared in the series, Frankly Speaking.
Unmasked is penned by Kim Gi Ryang and helmed by Yoo Sun Dong who previously worked in the series, The Uncanny Counter 2 and Bad and Crazy.
It is the first of many unmissable APAC originals set to launch on Disney+ in 2025. Stream Unmasked starting on January 15, exclusively on Disney+.
