After almost a decade, we will finally be seeing Goblin cast members reuniting!
Following tvN’s Reply 1988 10th Anniversary Special last year, another popular tvN series will commemorate its 10th Anniversary soon!
On March 26, it was announced that Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, Yoo In Na, and other main cast members of Goblin will be reuniting in celebration of the drama’s 10th anniversary and plan to offer a reflective journey through its most memorable scenes, iconic lines, and the profound, special significance it has indelibly left upon its audience.
According to tvN, they plan to rekindle cherished memories among its loyal viewers and evoke nostalgia for this masterpiece they are reuniting with. They ask for everyone’s outpouring anticipation as the laughter and emotion that once filled our days, the overflowing chemistry among the cast members even after a decade, and the resonant impact of this drama are poised to grace our screens once again.
Premiered in 2016, Goblin is a critically acclaimed drama that tells the story of Kim Shin, a Goblin who seeks a human bride to pull out the mysterious sword from his chest. This series carved its place in history by being the first cable drama to surpass the 20% viewership rating. It is one of the highest-rated dramas on tvN.
The drama garnered significant acclaim, being honored with the Best Drama award at both the 11th Korean Cable TV Awards and the 10th Korea Drama Awards. Renowned writer Kim Eun Sook received the prestigious Grand Prize at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards. Furthermore, the principal cast, including Yook Sung Jae, earned various accolades for their compelling portrayals. The series’s beautiful original soundtracks also received widespread recognition.
