Before 2021 ends, IQIYI has another surprise in store for you with its upcoming original Korean series “Bad and Crazy“, from the same production team behind the hit series “The Uncanny Counter“. It is packed with eye-catching and talented actors such as Lee Dong Wook (Tale of the Nine-Tailed and Guardian: The Lonely and Great God) and Wi Ha Jun (Squid Game and 18 Again). Last November 18, 2021, IQIYI released its first-ever 15-second teaser that features a glimpse of the amazing visuals and talents of Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Jun. The teaser is jam-packed and filled with intense action scenes by the two leads. You will see Wi Ha Jun riding a motorcycle at high speed on the streets and down the stairs, with Lee Dong Wook riding behind him. You can also look forward to an intense battle of contrasting personalities and bromance within the series.
Ryu Su Yeol (Lee Dong Wook) –
A Corrupt cop that only cares about his career growth. In the teaser, you will see him running, punching someone, and even receiving a blow with his bare chest. In one of the scenes, you will see him under the rain with arms wide open that will remind you of that iconic scene in the movie, “The Shawshank Redemption”. His part of the teaser ends with his smiling face that will send you chills, mimicking his character as Jekyll and Hyde personality.
K (Wi Ha Jun) –
Armed with his helmet and red and black riding suit, K fights society’s injustice with his fist and motorbike. In the trailer, you can see him assaulting someone in a green sweatsuit (Does this ring any bell?). And in another scene, you can see him riding his bike at full speed and then breaking in style and shattering a car’s side window with his wheel. But his crazy antics do not stop there, you will see him uppercut someone’s jaw before he removes his helmet as he reveals his menacing grin that would make you feel the full insanity of Wi Ha Jun’s “K”.
