List of Disney+ upcoming APAC shows for the second half of 2023 and beyond!
More Korean and Japanese content is coming in Disney+!

In the second half of 2023 through 2024, Disney will be launching some of its most anticipated local APAC originals and stories. Here is the list.
Korean Contents
1. Moving

Starring: Ryu Seung Ryong, Han Hyo Joo, Zo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Ryoo Seung Bum, Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Jung Ha, Go Yoon Jung, and Kim Do Hoon.
Synopsis: An original series based on the popular webtoon that tells the story of three teenagers who have incredible superpowers which they inherited from their secret agent parents. They will find themselves with their backs against the wall as government agencies across the world work to stop them in their tracks.
2. The Worst Evil

Starring: Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Im Se Mi
Synopsis: The Worst Evil tells the story of undercover police investigators who gain access to a large criminal organization that involves illegal drug trade between South Korea, China, and Japan.
3. Vigilante

Starring: Nam Joo Hyuk, Yoo Ji Tae, Lee Jun Hyuk, and Kim So Jin
Synopsis: Vigilante is a webtoon-based drama that talks about a police university student named Ji Yong who lost his mother when he was young to a local gangster. He tries to find his parents’ enemies and punishes the criminals.
4. Soundtrack #2
Starring: Geum Sae Rok and Steven Noh
Synopsis: Depicts the story of two young sweethearts who break up after six years together, only to be reconnected again. In 2022, Soundtrack #1 captured audiences with its touching story of unrequited love.
5. BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star

Synopsis: An exclusive Disney+ music docu-series that will chart the incredible journey of 21st-century pop icons BTS. The series will feature the daily lives, thoughts, and plans of BTS members, as they prepare for their second chapter. This is part of a collaboration between HYBE and Disney.
6. Han River Police

Starring: Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Hee Won
Synopsis: A fictional comedy-action series that depicts the crazy antics of Seoul’s Han River Police Force as they patrol the waterways and respond to emergency situations including terrorist incidents, accidents, and more.
Japanese Contents
1. Dragons of Wonderhatch

Starring: Sena Nakajima, Daiken Okudaira, and Mackenyu
Synopsis: Set in both the real world and anime land called Upananta where dragons and humans coexist. It tells a cross-dimensional story of a high school student named Nagi, Thaim who can communicate with Dragons, and the dragon hero rider named, Aktha.
2. A Town without Season

Starring: Sosuke Ikematsu, Taiga Nakano, and Daichi Watanabe
Synopsis: A Japanese live-action drama that depicts a story of a man named Hansuke who is recruited to spy on the remaining residents who suffered from the Nani Disaster which hit Japan 12 years ago.
3. Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc

Synopsis: Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc depicts the “Kanto Incident” and the last war between the Tokyo Manji Gang, led by Manjiro Sano. This popular anime series is part of the collaboration between Disney and the Japanese publishing house Kodansha.
4. PHOENIX: EDEN17
Synopsis: Depicts a woman named Romi who departs along with her partner from Earth to planet Eden hoping for a better life there.
In 2024 audiences can look forward to Korea’s A Shop For Killers and Red Swan, and Japan’s House of the Owl and Murai In Love, all slated to join an ever-expanding collection of stories from APAC set to be announced soon.
