New action Disney+ original series, “Made in Korea” starring Hyun Bin and Jung Woo Sung is coming in 2025!
A new riveting crime thriller series is coming this 2025!
Made from Korea is set in the turbulent 1970s, and depicts the story of intense tension between Baek Ki Tae, an ambitious man who has a desire for wealth and power, and Jang Gun Young, a dedicated prosecutor who does everything to stop him. They will find themselves involved in an era-defining incident that will forever change their futures.
The fans will be seeing a new facet of Hyun Bin’s acting skill as he transforms into a man who is consumed with a desire for wealth and power named, Baek Ki Tae.
This is Hyun Bin’s series following the hit 2019 rom-com drama, Crash Landing on You. He is also remarkable for his roles in the dramas, Secret Garden, My Lovely Samsoon, Hyde Jekyll, Me, and Memories of Alhambra and in the films, The Swindlers, The Negotiation, Rampant, Confidential Assignment 2: International, and The Point Men.
On the other hand, Jung Woo Sung portrays the role of prosecutor Jang Gun Young, a stalwart prosecutor who stands in Baek Ki Tae’s way.
Last year, Woo Sung showed off his great acting skills playing the role of Cha Jin Woo a painter who has a hearing disability in Tell Me That You Love Me. He is popular for his roles in the films, Innocent Witness, Hunt, and 12.12: The Day.
The drama includes Heartbeat star, Won Ji An as lobbyist Choi Yu Ji, Chief Detective 1958 star, Seo Eun Soo as investigator Oh Ye Jin, Cho Yeo Jeong who is popular for her role in the film Parasite portrays Bae Geum Ji and The Glory actor, Jung Sung Il plays the role of chief secretary Cheon Seok Joong.
