Yoo Ah In, Park Jeong Min, and more confirmed to lead the new Netflix supernatural series “Hellbound”

Netflix confirmed on July 29 that Yoo Ah In, Park Jeong Min, Kim Hyun Joo, Won Jin Ah, and Yang Ik June will be leading the new supernatural series Hellbound.

Hellbound will tell the story of supernatural angels who appears out of nowhere to convict people to hell.

Yoo Ah In is known for his roles in Burning, The Throne, Veteran, and Six Flying Dragons.

He will play the role of Jeong Jin Su, the charismatic and mysterious leader of the New Truth Church.

With the arrival of the supernatural angels, the New Truth Church leads a religious movement wherein they tell the people that these visits are the will of the divine.

Meanwhile, Park Jeong Min will play Bae Young Jae, a producer of a broadcasting company that is interested in the New Truth Church.

Park Jeong Min is known for this roles in Time To Hunt, Start-Up, and Savha: The Sixth Finger.

The new series also stars Kim Hyun Joo, who is known for dramas such as Watcher and I Have A Lover, will play the role of Min Hye Jin, a lawyer who is against the New Truth Church and its devotees.

Won Jin Ah starred in The Age of Shadows and Steel Rain, will play the role of Hong Ji Yeong, the wife of Bae Young Jae, and also a member of the New Truth Church.

Lastly, Yang Ik June, who is known for Breathless, Bad Guys: Vile City, and It’s Okay, That’s Love, is also joining the cast. He will take the role of Jin Gyeong Jun, a police detective who investigates the mysterious appearance of the death angels.

Yeon Sang Ho, who directed the movies Train To Busan and Peninsula, will be directing the new drama series. Yeong Sang Ho is collaborating with Choi Gyu Seok, author of the popular webtoon series Songgot, with the script of the drama.

Hellbound will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
