We have another romance coming-of-age series to look forward to!

On January 23, Netflix finally released a key art and date announcement trailer to offer a sneak peek into IU and Park Bo Gum‘s much-anticipated drama series, When Life Gives You Tangerines.
The said drama revolves around Ae Sun, “the remarkable rebel,” and Gwan Sik, nicknamed “unyielding iron,” who adores Ae Sun from the beginning and gives his all to her. It tells the story of their adventure through four vibrant seasons on Jeju Island.
IU who is known for her impeccable acting skills in the dramas, Dream High, Moon Lovers, My Mister, and Hotel Del Luna portrays the role of Ae Sun while Park Bo Gum plays the role of Gwan Sik. He is remarkable for his roles in Reply 1988, Love in the Moonlight, Encounter, and Record of Youth.
The key art features Ae Sun and Gwan Sik holding hands in a vibrant canola flower field. Dressed in school uniforms and tracksuits, they exude a refreshing vibe reminiscent of spring, hinting at the start of their life journeys together. While Ae Sun smiles confidently, Gwan Sik appears stiff and nervous, sparking curiosity about their dynamic.
The date announcement trailer not only shows the overflowing chemistry of IU and Park Bo Gum but also the scenic beauty of Jeju Island, complete with canola fields, tangerine trees, and the sea.
The drama is helmed by director Kim Won Suk, who previously worked in Misaeng: Incomplete Life, My Mister, and Arthdal Chronicles and penned by When the Camellia Blooms and Fight for My Way writer, Lim Sang Choon.
