Ahn Bo Hyun delights PH Bbosiraegis in his first-ever “Hello!” fan meeting in Manila!

Ahn Bo Hyun successfully wrapped up the Manila leg of his first-ever “Hello!” fan meeting on May 25 at New Frontier Theater.

Finally! PH Bbosiraegis meets the Boss! The bad weather didn’t stop them from showing their immense love to their beloved star, Ahn Bo Hyun. Let’s all recollect the wonderful moments Ahn Bo Hyun spent with PH Bbosiraegis.

Opening Performance

Before the fan meeting officially started, a special video message from Ahn Bo Hyun was flashed on the big screen and his message goes like this: “Hello, this is Ahn Bo Hyun. I’m so nervous about meeting bbosiraegi that I can’t sleep. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about anything before. Since this will be my first-ever fan meeting, I’ve prepared a lot for this, I did a lot of singing practice, and I was involved in making all the segments. There’s a lot to expect hope that today will be joyful for me and all of you.”

After which, the Boss finally appeared on the stage kicking off the event with the song, Start Over by Gaho, one of the OSTs of Itaewon Class where he starred in.

He greeted the crowd saying “Mabuhay! Ako po si Ahn Bo Hyun!” So kilig! Ahn Bo Hyun expressed how happy he is meeting his PH Bbosiraegis through this fan meeting and is very grateful that a lot of fans came despite the bad weather.

Get closer to the Boss

Fans got the opportunity to get closer to him in 3 segments called “Boss-tagram,” where he shared stories about the photos flashed on the screen. Next is “Boss Awards” where fans voted on one topic related to him and lastly, “Boss-pre Epilogue” where the fans had the opportunity to ask him a question they submitted.

Here are the things we learned about him during the fan meeting:

1. If he had to choose between living the life of a chaebol like Jin I Soo in Flex X Cop or an ordinary person like Goo Woong in Yumi’s Cells, he said that these are his favorite characters but he would choose the life of a chaebol.
2. He likes to drive and the place he prefers to drive to is the seaside and while driving alone, he likes to listen to the OG Korean songs like SG Wannabe’s My Person.
3. When memorizing the script, he shared that he keeps on staring at it and if there is a part of the script that he can’t memorize, he just sleeps and puts on an alarm and when he wakes up, that script that he can’t remember will come to his mind.
4. In portraying the role of Jin I Soo in Flex X Cop, he said that he exerted a lot of effort to create a good image for his character to be somehow lovable to viewers and impressive to the press.
5. He said he wanted to try filming abroad and wanted to try a historical genre or something evil role.
6. Because he loves the seaside, he prefers summer more than winter.
7. He cares about the environment. Whenever he goes camping, he takes trash even if it is not his. He doesn’t use disposable chopsticks made of wood when a food delivery comes to his place, and he uses a tumbler.
8. “He starts growing on me” is Ahn Bo Hyun’s favorite phrase to hear.
9. He likes being an actor because it’s really fun and he can meet a lot of people, and it fascinates him every time.
10. Ahn Bo Hyun’s best way to relieve stress is by meeting up with his close friends cycling and drinking soju. 
11. His happiest moment is when he takes a shower after working out.
12. The last part is the most memorable part for him in the Backpacker Chef Season 1 and he was very emotional because of the farewell. He revealed that they are filming season 2 right now, it’s gonna be harder but it’s fun.
13. If he goes back to the Philippines for a vacation, he would like to visit Boracay, Palawan, and Cebu.
14. If he could have dinner or drink with the characters he portrayed, he would choose to be with Goo Woong because he is so stubborn and he wants to give him friendly advice.

Because of these segments, we felt like we got closer to him even more. We fell in love deeply with him because he is such a cool person with a great personality.

Interaction with PH Bbosiraegis

The second part of the show started with a surprise! Fans were so shocked as Ahn Bo Hyun walked around every aisle of the venue just to see the fans up close. He was smiling and waving to every one of us. He is so charming up close and our hearts melted the way he smiles. He then serenaded us with Stephen Sanchez’s Until I Found You. he has such a lovely voice, he’s so perfect!

This part of the show is about the precious interaction between PH Bbosiraegis and Ahn Bo Hyun wherein they get connected through games such as the “Boss-relay” and “Boss Quiz”. In the said games, we witnessed how Ahn Bo Hyun loves his fans so much and we were so touched by it.

In the segment called “Boss-neun Ahn Bo Hyun,” lucky fans got to win Philippine exclusive signed Flex X Cop posters, a Polaroid photo with him, a chance to get their own item signed by Ahn Bo Hyun, and also Flex X Cop merch with his sign on it.

Moreover, Ahn Bo Hyun once again made our hearts flutter by singing the song, October Rain by Roy Kim. It’s perfect for the weather that night because it was raining. Bo Hyun said he want to bring healing to everyone so, he performed the song.

Final Stage and Heartfelt Message

To wrap up the event, Ahn Bo Hyun performed his song, I’ll Embrace Your Past, one of the OSTs of his drama, See You in My 19th Life.

Ahn Bo Hyun mentioned that he thinks that night was the hottest day of his life. He prepared hard to give presents for his fans, but he thinks that he’s receiving a lot more from them. He said he would come back here to the Philippines for a vacation, and he would like to meet his Filipino Bbosiraegis to have a fan meeting again.

He feels honored that his first visit here in the Philippines was for a fan meeting and he will never forget the moments he shared with his fans and will surely come back again. He ended his heartfelt message with the sweetest phrase and said, “Mahal Kita!”

Furthermore, PH Bbosiraegis prepared presents for Ahn Bo Hyun to show their immense love for him and a special video message that made him very happy.
