AO EXCLUSIVE: ‘A Sweet Experience’ Bench FUN Meet with ENHYPEN
Ahead of their big ‘A Sweet Experience’ Bench Fun Meet at the Mall of Asia Arena, ENHYPEN, the new faces of the well-loved Filipino clothing line, met with the media to chat and answer some fun questions.
This visit is their fourth time in the Philippines since the pandemic, after their “BYS” fan meet and during their “MANIFESTO” and “FATE” tours. The group was excited to be named “Global Benchsetters” and thanked BENCH for the chance to meet their fans, ENGENEs, again.
“It’s been four months since we last visited the Philippines for our “FATE” tour in New Clark City,” said leader Jungwon, highlighting the group’s consistent engagement with their Filipino fans.
Jake talked about why they keep coming back to the country, is because of the energy. “Whenever we come here, the energy is just incredible. ENGENEs always bring out their best energy.”
Sunoo also shared some Filipino words he learned, like “Kumusta (Hi),” “Salamat po (Thank you),” “Mahal kita (I love you),” and “Pogi (Handsome).”
When the talk turned to style, as new faces for a brand, Jay quickly said Sunghoon had the best style. But Sunghoon humbly said their whole crew had good style, noting, “For me, actually, it’s all the members. We are all fashionable.”
When asked by our team what motivates them to give their all in every performance, Niki answered that it’s ENGENEs. He shared that they always give their best in every practice, sometimes imagining that they are performing in front of ENGENEs. Their dedication to their fans fuels their passion and drive, ensuring each performance is their best.
They were all thrilled about the fan meet coming up. Each one shared how eager they were to see and rock out for ENGENEs.
As ENHYPEN gets closer to their fans in the Philippines, being “Global Benchsetters” for BENCH shows a cool and deep link between the group and their fans.
