To All Nations: Things you need to know about TAN
TAN is a 7-member boy group that debuted on March 10, 2022. They were formed through a survival show on MBC and is now handled by Think Entertainment. So far, they’ve had several releases with different concepts that highlight their charms and reveal their limitless potential.
Interested in getting to know TAN? Here are some things that you need to know about them!
‘Wild Idol’
TAN was created through the 2021 audition program “Extreme Debut: Wild Idol.” There, the contestants went through challenges related to physical strength and stamina on top of evaluations for their idol qualities. The mentors for vocals, dance, and rap made their way into the wild, where the participants stayed for most of the show.
Having proved their competence and fulfilling the various missions throughout the program, the members gained their deserved places in the debut line-up.

A year after, TAN made their debut with “Du Du Du,” the title track for their first album 1TAN.
Beautiful vocals
Since Wild Idol, TAN has already been able to showcase their various talents and they solidified this more after debuting. One of those is the members’ wonderful voices.
Check out their special performance for “If you can hear me,” one of the songs from Wild Idol.
TAN’s live vocals when dancing are notable. Here’s their cover stage of “Summer Nights” from Grease for Immortal Songs 2.
Amazing dancers
Of course, TAN’s dancing skills are also impressive. They are able to execute the choreographies of their songs well while maintaining synchronization within the group.
One of their stages that’s really satisfying to watch is their pre-debut appearance for MBC’s year-end music festival in 2021.
Here’s their special dance performance of “Boy With Luv” by BTS. They choreographed this for SBS’ Dancing-Dol S1, a dance program for idols which TAN won overall.
Solid discography
Since their debut, TAN has consistently produced good music every time they make a comeback.
To illustrate, here’s the highlight medley of their previous album TAN MADE, where all TAN members participated in the creative process – some as composers and others as lyricists.
Fun group dynamics
With TAN’s good chemistry with each other, watching their reality contents is sure to put you in a good mood because of their funny moments and genuine bond as a group.
Experienced members
TAN may be a relatively young group, but this is actually not the first time debuting for 5 out of 7 members. Their leader, Changsun, first debuted as part of 24K. Meanwhile, Jooan used to be a member of We in the Zone, and Sunghyuk (a former contestant in Produce 101) used to be in the project group Rainz. Even their youngest, Jiseong, first debuted as part of NTX. Lastly, Jaejun used to be a member of C-Clown and Trei.
As the saying goes, skill comes with experience. The older ones are able to show their better selves to the fans, and they can improve the quality of their work as TAN by sharing their wisdom with the younger members. From being individuals, they create an entirely new synergy coming together as a team.
International promotions
Living up to their name (To All Nations), TAN conducts various promotional activities internationally. They’ve been to several countries such as Japan, Brazil, the USA, the Dominican Republic, and the Philippines. Aside from fan meetings, TAN has also made appearances on foreign TV programs to promote their comebacks.

Known as SODAs, TAN’s fans are always showered with love by the group. TAN tries their best to post a lot, go on lives often, and respond to messages in the fan café, in order to communicate with SODAs.
As part of their debut album, TAN released the track, “My Girl,” dedicated to their fans. The choreography for the song was personally made by Changsun.
