"Light Shop" starring Ju Ji Hoon, Park Bo Young, and more star-studded cast is coming to Disney+!

A mysterious drama that tackles life, death, and what makes us human is coming exclusively on Disney+!

Following the success of his popular 2023 webtoon, Moving, Kang Full returns with a new drama adaptation of his hit webtoon Light Shop this 2024!

Light Shop tells the story of various people who are mysteriously drawn to a light shop that is situated at the end of a seedy alleyway. These people have their stories to tell, and the light shop could hold the key to the people’s pasts, presents, and futures.

Ju Ji Hoon who previously starred in Jirisan and Kingdom, portrays the vigilant owner of the light shop named Jung Won Young.

After touching our hearts with her role as Nurse Jung Da Eun in Daily Dose of Sunshine, Park Bo Young is back with another nurse role in this series, she will play the role of Kwon Young Ji, a nurse with an unusual connection to her patients.

Lee Jung Eun plays Jung Yu Hee, a distraught mother. She is known for her great performance in her 2023 dramas, A Bloody Lucky Day and A Daily Dose of Sunshine.

Bae Sung Woo transforms into a police officer named Yang Sung Sik. Seong Woo previously appeared in the film, Road to Boston.

Moreover, more star-studded cast members are also confirmed to join this series including Uhm Tae Goo, Seolhyun, Kim Min Ha, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Dae Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Kim Sun Hwa, and Kim Ki Hae.

The series is adapted for the screen by Kang Full and will be helmed by actor Kim Hee Won, who previously appeared in Disney+’s series, Han River Police and Moving. This is his first series to direct.
