I-POP U 2022 Manila brings Xdinary Heroes, NCT Dream, Golden Child, and WayV together for a fun-filled night + get to know these 4 artists!

Another concert is coming to Manila and Filipino K-pop fans are excited!

This October 21, 2022, I-POP U 2022 Manila is happening at the Smart Araneta Coliseum at 8:00 PM. Xdinary Heroes, NCT Dream, Golden Child, and WayV are coming to meet and perform for their Filipino fans!

Teasers were revealed last September 10 on DNM Entertainment’s social media pages and it was seen that NCTzens, Goldenness, WayZenNi, and Villains were excited because the hints were pointing to their favorite K-pop and Asia pop groups!

On September 11, DNM Entertainment shared the official poster for I-POP U 2022 Manila.

I-POP U 2022 Manila will be Golden Child, Xdinary Heroes, and WayV’s first visit to the Philippines. It’s an exciting event because their fans can finally show them how hyped and fun Filipino fans are!

As for NCT Dream, it will be their second time performing for their Filipino fans, and the second time this year!

The official ticket selling is happening this October 1, 2022, at 12:00PM via TicketNet Online and TicketNet Outlets nationwide. Below are the seating plan and ticket prices for I-POP U 2022 Manila.

NCT Dream

NCT Dream is the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band, NCT. NCT Dream consists of members Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung.

Since their debut, NCT Dream released four EPs, six singles, and two studio albums. They also headlined one tour in Asia.

NCT Dream is recognized internationally as one of the most notable teenaged artists of their time. They also received awards as a group. NCT Dream was also included on Time’s list of the “25 Most Influential Teens” of 2018.

Some of NCT Dream’s popular songs are “Hot Sauce”, which became NCT Dream’s first single to peak at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, “Hello Future”, “Glitch Mode”, and the recently released “Beatbox”. Listen to “Beatbox” here:

Golden Child

I-POP U 2022 Manila will be Golden Child’s first ever visit and concert in the Philippines!

Debuted on August 28, 2017, Golden Child consists of members Daeyeol, Y, Jangjun, TAG, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan, and Bomin. The group’s leader, Daeyeol, is currently serving in the military and will be officially discharged one year from today!

Since their debut, Golden Child released four studio albums (two were repackaged versions), 6 mini albums, and 2 single albums. Golden Child also sang OSTs for dramas through the years.

Golden Child also held their first-ever solo concert in 2020 titled “Future and Past”. Other concerts they held were Ontact Concert – NOW (2020), and PLAY (2022). Last June, Golden Child held their first-ever US tour which included 10 cities in the USA.

Throughout their career, Golden Child won various awards as well. They won the Global Rookie Top 5 award at the V Live Awards, the Choice Award at the Asia Artist Awards, and just recently, the Best Music Video Award for their song “Burn It” at the K Global Heart Dream Awards.

Some of Golden Child’s popular songs are “Wannabe”, “Without You”, “One (Lucid Dream)”, “Burn It”, from their album “YES” which recorded more than 100,000 sales and marked the group’s highest sales record since debut, “RaPamPam”, “DDARA”, and the recently released “Replay”. Xdinary Heroes

Rock band Xdinary Heroes is coming to the Philippines for the first time!

The rock band debuted last December 6, 2021. Xdinary Heroes consists of members Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon.

The members of Xdinary Heroes are very talented as they are all involved in writing, composing, and producing their music!

The rookie boy band debuted with the single “Happy Death Day” in 2021, which debuted at number 12 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales. On July 20, 2022, Xdinary Heroes released their debut EP titled “Hello Word”.

On November 4, 2022, Xdinary Heroes is set to release their 2nd EP “Overload”.

Their popular songs are “Happy Death Day”, “Test Me”, and the B-side, “Strawberry Cake”. Listen to their debut single “Happy Death Day” here:

Just like the other 2 groups in this line-up, it is WayV’s first time performing in the Philippines as well!

WayV is the fourth sub-unit and China-based unit of the South Korean boy group, NCT. Debuted on January 17, 2019, the group consists of seven members Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. 

WayV debuted with their digital EP “The Vision”. Their first studio album “Awaken The World” was released in 2020. Throughout their career, they released one studio album, one single album, and three extended plays.

As a group, WayV received several awards from both national and international award ceremonies. They received the Favorite Asian Artist at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards and the Best Dance Performance (Chinese) at the Asian Pop Music Awards for their 2021 single “Kick Back”.
