She will portray a cheerful ordinary office worker named Shin Ha Ri who goes on a blind date in place of her friend not knowing that her date is her company’s CEO.
We will witness Kim Sejeong’s versatility in acting since she will transform back and forth between the fake “sexy femme fatale” persona and her energetic real self just to hide her identity.
Kim Sejeong said,
“I enjoyed the script so much, and I was sure that I could have a lot of fun with the writer, director, and actors. I’m a beginner in a romantic comedy for the first time, but I’m working hard on my appearance and acting, so please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, The Office Blind Date will begin filming in the second half of this year and be released in the first half of next year.

We may be seeing Kim Sejeong again in our small screens alongside with Ahn Hyo Seop.
Jellyfish Entertainment revealed on May 6 that Kim Sejeong received an offer to cast as the female lead in a new webtoon-based drama titled The Office Blind Date and she’s currently reviewing it.
The Office Blind Date takes place when a regular office employee hides her identity in order to go on a blind date in place of her friend without any idea that her date is her company’s CEO.
If Kim Sejeong accepts the offer, she will going to play the role of a regular office employee named Shin Ha Ri.
On the other hand, it was previously announced that Ahn Hyo Seop is considering the male lead role for the said drama, while Jo Bo Ah has also received the same casting offer as Kim Sejeong.
Moreover, Kim Sejeong is also currently in talks to star in upcoming SBS drama, Today’s Webtoon.
