You are indeed lucky if you find friends who support, understand, and do crazy things with you just like the South Korea’s adorable Wooga Squad!
Moreover, their friendship started when the Hwarang casts Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, and BTS’ V got close through the said drama early in 2017.
On the other hand, Choi Woo Shik and Park Seo Joon created a bond in the daily sitcom Family, and even the famous rapper Peakboy joined their group that completed the circle of Wooga Squad.
Since then, they show support and even make time for each other as the bond they created shows their indisputable closeness and brotherhood. However, the fans left wondering what Wooga really means.
Last April, the youngest member of Wooga Squad BTS’ V shared on an interview that their squad name is an abbreviation of Are we family? (Woori-ga Gajok-inka?’).
Through this revelation, it clearly shows that their squad name holds a very meaningful content. They are not just friends but best of friends and a family!
Here are some of their interactions and happy moments together:
1. Wooga’s pool bonding
The Wooga Squad had a happy and chill pool moments together in December 2018. Park Seo Joon posted a photo of the squad on his personal Instagram account soaking half of their faces in the water.
2. Wooga’s 2019 Christmas get-together
The squad once again show off their friendship as they celebrated Christmas together!
Park Hyung Sik is missing in the photo because he’s in the military service at that time. Moreover, the four remaining members posted the same back hug photos of them on their accounts with the caption, “Merry Christmas.”
3. Wooga Squad’s vacation
Wooga Squad shared some photos of the squad’s vacation on their respective accounts. In the photos, they were hanging in a beautiful yacht enjoying the beautiful view and each others’ company.
Moreover, V photoshopped one of the photos with Park Hyung Sik’s face as he couldn’t join the fun because of his military service.
4. V’s vlog featuring Wooga Squad
Big Hit Entertainment released V’s first-ever vlog on October 9 featuring the Wooga Squad.
The video shows the four of them; Park Seo Joon, V, Choi Woo Shik, and Peakboy eating and dancing in the car. Then it shifted to the yacht scene in their vacation and later on at the gym where Park Seo Joon is seriously lifting a barbel while his friends are having a gym dance party.
5. Supporting BTS’ V in the newly released album
Park Seo Joon posted on his Instagram account the screenshot photo of V from the title track “ON” with a caption that reads, “Amazing every time, no more surprising every time.”
Choi Woo Shik also shared the same photo and captioned, “Sexy… too much to handle…” as well as Park Hyung Sik who puts the caption, “Now, it’s just art.”
6. V sang the OST of Park Seo Joon’s drama Itaewon Class
V composed a meaningful song titled Sweet Night and performed it on Park Seo Joon’s recent hit-drama Itaewon Class.
7. Wooga Squad as V’s fanboys
Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Sik attended BTS’ solo concert on August 26 at Jamsil Stadium to support their youngest Wooga member, V.
Other than that, Peakboy, Choi Woo Shik and Park Seo Joon were also spotted at BTS’ Speak Yourself: The Finale last October 2019. They also sent food trucks to V! Imagine the support they’ve given to their maknae, wow!
8. Wooga Squad congratulated Choi Woo Shik
Choi Woo Shik starred in the hit-Korean movie Parasite and win numerous awards including Oscar and SAG. And his Wooga brothers are so proud of his achievements and show support through their social media accounts.
During the Screen Guild Actors Awards (SAG), BTS’ V posted twice on his Twitter account the video of him and Woo Shik while they were in California as BTS was promoting their recent comeback in the US.
He captions, “Congratulations Woo Shik on the SAG award!” and on the other video he puts, “Can’t believe this is the same man in that awards ceremony.”
Park Hyung Sik also posted the photo of Woo Shik holding a trophy on Instagram and says, “You’re cool, Choi Woo Shik.”
Just like Park Hyung Sik, Park Soo Joon and Peakboy posted the same photo on their Instagram accounts.
Lastly, they often send food trucks to each other’s fan meetings or filming studio. All of these are the living proof that Wooga Squad is definitely the type of friendship we ever wanted!
