Entertainments such as dramas and movies never fail to play with our emotions. It is not just for making us entertain but also to remind us of the wonderful things the world could offer.
Some storylines depict our own life story where it gives us lessons and inspirations, hope when we are in the state of despair, and chances to be new again.

One of the inspirational Korean movies that caught my attention is the 2017 action-comedy film, Midnight Runners starring Park Seo Joon and Kang Ha Neul.
It tells the story of two new students at the Korean National Police University who have a sense of responsibility and are willing to save other people even if it means the end of their academic life.
Moreover, here are 7 lessons to learn from the action-comedy film Midnight Runners that will inspire us to be a better person:
1. All professions are noble.

Up to this day, some people are looking down on those professions who have a lesser amount of salary than others. They think you will not succeed in that field nor earn much money in the future.
Let us cut this kind of mindset and support one other whether his/her job has a low or high income. All professions are noble and should be treated with the utmost respect.
Moreover, every profession holds different responsibilities in our lives. As long as it is legal and helps to boost our economy and respective lives, then there’s no need to be ashamed of and no need to shame other people.
2. School prepares us to face the reality of life.

We studied for 19 years and more to get a degree and find a legal job when we reach adulthood. The teachers teach us some sort of things and in college, we specialized what we wanted to be.
Some say, what we learn in school about work is really different when we are experiencing it in real-time. There’s so much more than that, that the school couldn’t explain to us.
However, school is still important. It will teach us how the industry works and gives us more knowledge based on books. After all, experience and knowledge are one of the best attributes to live up your life.
3. Be responsible. Do what is right and just.

In every decision we made, there are consequences that we need to bear and take responsibility for. Since we were born up to who we are right now, we are assigned to a certain small or big task.
Other people may be in trouble just because we are not responsible to face our own doings. Ki Joon (Park Seo Joon) and Hee Yeol (Kang Ha Neul) are not selfish enough for doing what is right and just.
Take responsibility and do what you think is right.
4. Do the things that make you happy.

Your happiness is what matters the most. Choose someone who can make you laugh and be at ease. Choose your course according to what your heart wants. Choose the things that make you happy.
5. Real purpose of life is to help and save other people.

Our life is like a cycle and it’s our own choice to live a generous life helping one another. The real purpose of life is to help and save other people whatever status they are in and whoever they are.
Nothing can compare to the feeling of satisfaction when you are helping someone genuinely and without anything in return.
6. Do not afraid to ask for help.

In connection with lesson number 5, we should learn to ask for help if we cannot take it anymore. Depending on someone doesn’t make you inferior, nevertheless, from the well-known saying: no man is an island.
However, we should also learn to stand on our own. We need to balance everything.
7. Make friends who have the same vision as yours.

We all have friends but not all of them can make us feel comfortable and can treat as siblings. Find friends who have the same vision as yours, who are pure and willing to help you at all times, and who are willing to correct you if you’re mistaken. Most importantly, a friend who will not leave your side no matter what happens.

Park Seo Joon and Kang Ha Neul in one drama is a pretty and perfect sight as they nailed, as always, their respective characters.
The duo intensively creates a humorous yet intense environment in the film that will touch your heart and make you laugh at the same time. Also, it looks like they did enjoy each others’ company.
However, would you like to see Park Seo Joon and Kang Ha Neul again in one drama?
