NamtanFilm, MilkLove, and ViewMim Officially Say Goodbye to ‘Girl Rules’ With a Final Fan Meeting Stop in Manila
Written by: Gerrica Viado
Namtan, Film, Milk, Love, View, and Mim–stars of the ensemble GL series ‘Girl Rules’–have officially wrapped their Manila fan meeting. The Manila stop also officially concludes the show and all that comes along with it, making the night extra emotional.
Filipino Lunars, MuvMuvs, and Vimmys got three times the kilig and six times the kulit as the girls celebrated the last stop of their series of fan meetings.

Let’s take a quick look at what went down during the girls’ Manila fan meeting.
The girls kicked off the night with their soulful rendition of the ‘Girl Rules’ OST, Forever Yours, originally sung by fellow artist Emi Thasorn.

Then, the girls sat down for the first time during the night to have a quick chit-chat to warm things up for the fans.
For NamtanFilm and MilkLove, who both have been in the Philippines for their own couple fan meetings, they couldn’t help but gush about being in the country and how being in their Filipino fans’ presence always feels good and energizing.

For first-timers in Manila, ViewMim couldn’t help but admit that with this much energy for their first fan meeting in the country, they’re even more excited to come back here to meet more of their Filipino fans up close and personal.

Then came the couple performances from each pair–a live performance of each of their couple OSTs for ‘Girl Rules’–ViewMim with Something New, MilkLove with Cross the Line, and NamtanFilm with Favorite Toxic.

Each performance was definitely a gift for the Filipino fans who have had these OSTs on repeat since their releases.
For the first game of the fan meeting, each couple acted out a scene from the show, but with a twist: they switched roles with their scene partners. Each scene acted out brought out the girls’ playful sides, as well as their comfort in their friendships with each other, with lots of teasing here and there.

Then, the girls gifted the fans with an exciting performance of จีบได้มั้ย (Would You Mind?) by LYKN.

The girls let their playfulness shine on stage, as they tried to get closer to and interact with fans throughout the event venue.
For the second (and last) game of the night, each pair was given one line, which they had to act out in three different emotions: shy, sad, and angry.

The game not only further revealed the girls’ fun sides, but also their acting chops, despite the lively nature of the game.
After the ceremonial group picture with the audience, the girls were shown a surprise fan video edit given by Filipino Lunars, MuvMuvs, and Vimmys.

Containing memories of ‘Girl Rules’ as well as the friendship the six girls formed on set while working, the girls couldn’t help but be choked with tears.
Though the girls each spoke individually to express their thanks for the Filipino fans who came to see them that night, there’s a common thought among their messages:
The girls are extremely thankful for the fans’ support, especially during the long journey it took to carry ‘Girl Rules’ from a concept to a show many fans fell in love with. More than any success or buzz the show created, all six girls agreed that one of the best things they took home from working on the show was the friendship and bond that they had formed with each other.

They once again expressed their thanks and kindly asked fans to continue supporting them, while they do their best with every project and opportunity that comes to them.
To officially close the Manila fan meeting and the memorable last stop of their series of Girl Rules fan meetings, the girls performed their own rendition of What If by fellow artist Gemini.

But wait! There’s more!
Before officially leaving the stage, the girls gifted fans a quick yet goofy performance of the ‘Girl Rules’ OST, Girl Rules, which many of the fans had repeatedly requested throughout the night.

Until the very end, Namtan, Film, Milk, Love, View, and Mim were full of playful energy, and much like the fans, seemed not to want the night to end.

We hope to see you again, girls, in one way or another!
