"Doctor on the Edge" starring Lee Jae Wook and Shin Ye Eun is coming to Disney+ this June!

We have a new healing romantic medical series to look forward to on Disney+ this coming June!

Doctor on the Edge tells the story of Do Jiui, who is suddenly assigned to work for a year on a remote Korean island as part of his military service. While working as a public health doctor in Pyeondong Public Health Center, he encounters islanders brimming with distinct personalities and compelling life stories, from whom he gains profound insights. At the same Health Center, he meets Yook Hari, who used to work at a university hospital but, for some reason, transferred to Pyeondongdo. She helps Jiui to make it through the year.

Starring Lee Jae Wook as Do Jiui, a hardworking plastic surgeon, who is assigned to a remote Korean island as part of his military service. Fate will connect him with the one person who can keep him sane.

Jae Wook is remarkable for his roles in the dramas, Memories of Alhambra, Search: WWW, Extraordinary You, When the Weather is Fine, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Alchemy of Souls, Death’s Game, The Impossible Heir, and Dear Hongrang. He recently made a special appearance in Boyfriend on Demand as one of the virtual boyfriends.

The Murky Stream star, Shin Ye Eun, transforms into a nurse named Yuk Hari. She is from the big city who moves to Pyeondongdo for an unknown reason.

Ye Eun is a versatile actress who starred in various dramas such as The Glory, He is Psychometric, More than Friends, Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born, and A Hundred Memories.

Doctor on the Edge is helmed by Lee Myung Woo, the man behind the hit drama, The Fiery Priest, and penned by Missing Crown Prince writer, Kim Jisoo.

The drama is set to debut on Disney+ on June 1 at 10:30 PM PHT. New episodes of this 12-part series will launch every Monday and Tuesday through July 6 and 7.
