“Perfect Crown” confirmed to premiere on April 10 + Byeon Woo Seok, Yoo Su Bin, and Lee Yeon to appear on “IU’s Palette”
The most anticipated drama reunion of IU and Byeon Woo Seok is coming very soon on our small screens!
On March 6, it was announced that IU and Byeon Woo Seok‘s Perfect Crown was confirmed to air on April 10, 2026. It was previously reported that the drama is slated to premiere on April 3. The drama will take over the time slot of the Friday-Saturday 12-episode series, In Your Radiant Season.
Perfect Crown is set in a reimagined modern-day Korea that operates under a constitutional monarchy. A touching romantic comedy series that depicts the romance between a chaebol heiress named Sung Hee Joo and a prince named Lee Ahn.
IU will portray the role of Sung Hee Joo, the beautiful and intelligent second daughter of a conglomerate family. Her commoner status, which she thinks is nothing special, hinders her pursuit of a perfect life. She then becomes entangled with Prince Lee Ahn and ends up being in a marriage contract with him.
Byeon Woo Seok will transform into a prince Lee Ahn who doesn’t have anything despite being the son of the king. He is the second son of the king and hides his true identity. His life changes when he meets Sung Hee Joo.
On the other hand, Byeon Woo Seok, Yoo Su Bin, and Lee Yeon will also appear in IU’s Palette. Yoo Su Bin will play the role of Prince Lee Ahn’s Aide, Choi Hyun, and Lee Yeon will portray Do Hye Jung, Sung Hee Joo’s secretary in the series.
IU’s Palette is a talk show and music content released on IU’s official YouTube channel. Woo Seok, Su Bin, and Yeon are the first guests in this year’s IU’s Palette. Expectations are also high for the live performance of Woo Seok, who showcased his exceptional singing skills in Lovely Runner and also the behind-the-scenes footage in the filming of Perfect Crown.
