According to Joy News reports on December 5, the upcoming Netflix rom-com series, Can This Love Be Translated? is scheduled to premiere on January 16, 2026.
The drama is originally slated to be released this year, but after careful consideration, the release date has been decided to be mid-January, and the promotional plan is currently being developed.
Can This Love be Translated? depicts the romantic and comical love story of a multilingual interpreter who can speak English, Japanese, and Italian, and a top star actress.
Kim Seon Ho transforms into a multilingual interpreter fluent in English, Japanese, Italian, and more, named Ju Ho Jin.
Kim Seon Ho successfully debuted as an actor in 2017 through Good Manager. He is known for his seamless acting and popular for his roles in the dramas Strongest Deliveryman, Two Cops, You Drive Me Crazy, 100 Days My Prince, Welcome to Waikiki 2, Catch the Ghost, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, The Tyrant, and his latest project, When Life Gives You Tangerines.
He is confirmed to appear in 2 upcoming series, Portraits of Delusion and Unfriend.
On the other hand, Go Yoon Jung plays the role of Cha Mu Hee, a top star.
In 2019, Yoon Jung debuted as an actress playing the role of Kim So Hyun in the drama, He is Psychometric. She is remarkable for her roles in Law School, Alchemy of Souls, Moving, and her recent medical series, Resident Playbook.
The script was penned by the Hong Sisters, Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran, who are known for their previous works, The Greatest Love, Hotel Del Luna, and A Korean Odyssey. It is helmed by director Yoo Young Eun.
