Kim Seon Ho and Bae Suzy confirm to reunite in webtoon-based series, “Delusion” coming exclusively on Disney+
It’s finally confirmed! Kim Seon Ho and Bae Suzy will reunite in an upcoming webtoon-based series!
On May 23, Disney+ confirmed the production and casting for Delusion. Kim Seon Ho and Bae Suzy are set to reunite, following their roles as Han Ji Pyeong and Seo Dal Mi, respectively, in their 2020 drama, Start-Up.
Set in Gyeongseong in 1935, Delusion (working title) tells the story of Song Jeong Hwa, a vampire in mourning for a love lost decades before. Resigned to live an empty existence, Jeong Hwa finds herself surprised when Iho, a painter with a past, shows up and stirs something within her.
Kim Seon Ho portrays the role of Yoon Yi Ho, a painter who is commissioned to create a portrait of Song Jeong Hwa who turns out to be a vampire. This is Seon Ho’s second series on Disney+ following the 4-episode drama, The Tyrant. He recently appeared in When Life Gives You Tangerines.
On the other hand, Vagabond and Uncontrollably Fond star Bae Suzy transforms into a mysterious, beautiful vampire named Song Jeong Hwa.
Delusion will be helmed by director Han Jae Rim, who previously worked in the films The King and Emergency Declaration and in the web series The 8 Show.
