Set in the Joseon dynasty, where the crystal-clear Gyeong River, now known as the Han River, turned into a murky stream. It tells the story of the entangled fates of Siyul, Jung Chun, and Choi Eun, divided by circumstance but united in purpose, who form an unlikely alliance to challenge the powerful forces that prey on the weak.

Rowoon portrays the role of Jang Siyul, who was once a noble youth with dreams of military honor, but is now a fugitive turned gang enforcer, hardened by betrayal.

Rowoon is known for his versatility in acting and is remarkable for his roles in the dramas Extraordinary You,  She Would Never Know, The King’s Affection, Tomorrow, Destined With You, and The Matchmakers.

Children of the 20th Century star, Park Seo Ham, plays the role of Jung Chun, a newly assigned officer at the local police bureau. He is a childhood friend of Siyul.

Between them stands Choi Eun, the character portrayed by Shin Ye Eun, a sharp-witted merchant leader navigating the line between survival and resistance.
