ICYMI: Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun confirm to star in upcoming historical drama

Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun are the newest tandem in the upcoming historical drama!

On July 5, it was announced that SF9’s Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun are confirmed to star in the upcoming KBS 2TV drama, Wedding Match.

Wedding Match is a comical melodrama that depicts an encounter between two young widows named Shim Jung Woo and Jung Soon Deok and their journey in marrying off the four young maidens in Joseon.

Rowoon accepted the role to portray the brilliant Shim Jung Woo who faces misfortunes after the death of the princess during the wedding ceremony.

This is Rowoon’s next historical drama after King’s Affection opposite Park Eun Bin.

On the other hand, Cho Yi Hyun who recently starred in School 2021, plays the role of Jung Soon Deok who lives a double life as the best matchmaker in Hanyang City named Mrs. Yeo Joo.

Wedding Match is set to premiere in October 2023.
