“Dear Hongrang” starring Lee Jae Wook and Jo Bo Ah arrives on Netflix on May 16

We have a new period mystery romance series to look forward to on Netflix this May!

Dear Hongrang tells the story of the disappearance of Hong Rang, the son of a powerful Joseon merchant, and Jae Yi, his stepsister, who desperately searches for him. Years later, Hong Rang returns, and emotions stir between him and Jae Yi. It depicts the unbreakable relationships between characters, each with their own secrets and desires.

Following his hit series, Alchemy of Souls on Netflix, Lee Jae Wook appears as Hong Rang in Dear Hongrang. Jae Wook is also remarkable for his roles in the dramas, Memories of Alhambra, Search: WWW, Extraordinary You, When the Weather is Fine, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, Death’s Game, and The Impossible Heir.

Destined with You star, Jo Bo Ah, portrays the role of Jae Yi. Bo Ah is notable for her roles in the series, Sweet Stranger and Me, My Strange Hero, Forest, Tale of the Nine Tailed, and Military Prosecutor Dobberman.

Stellar cast members also include Jung Ga Ram, Uhm Ji Won, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Jae Wook.

Dear Hongrang is helmed by Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area director, Kim Hong Sun, and penned by Dr. Brain writer, Kim Jin Ah.

This series is coming to Netflix on May 16.
