EL CAPITXN has a surprise for PH ARMYs attending his “WHO KILLED EL?” concert
PH ARMYs who are coming to the K-pop Hitmaker, EL CAPITXN’s “WHO KILLED EL?“ concert in Manila and Bacolod, he has a surprise for all of you!
Known for his talent and music artistry, EL CAPITXN is the music producer, DJ, and singer-songwriter behind several K-POP hit songs, including IU’s “Eight” and AHOF’s “Rendezvous,” as well as SUGA’s “Daechwita. “It is no secret that he and SUGA of BTS are close friends. They have collaborated on several projects, including SUGA’s own D-Day and D-2 solo albums, where EL CAPITXN played a significant role in writing and music production.
ARMYs can look forward to EL CAPITXN playing SUGA’s song, “Dear My Friend” from his album D-2, co-written and co-produced by him.
As a teaser for the special performance, EL CAPITXN released a rehearsal video, in which he is seen playing the electric guitar to the chords of “Dear My Friend.”
The song has a special place in both EL CAPITXN and SUGA’s hearts, who have both expressed how cathartic this song was for both of them.
In episode 27 of SUGA’s YouTube series, “Suchwita” EL CAPITXN mentioned that when they were working on that song in 2017. They were going through some stuff back then and witnessing SUGA’s live performance of “Dear My Friend” on such a huge stage and seeing him crying while performing, he couldn’t help but get emotional also, thinking about how they amazingly conquered all that hardships in life together.
It is for this reason that EL CAPITXN is excited to play the song at his own concert, giving it another life for a different stage.
