“Light Shop Keeper” starring Park Bo Young and Ju Ji Hoon is coming exclusively to Disney+ on December 4!
A supernatural mystery series that promises to take viewers on an emotional adventure through its unique and heart-wrenching premise is coming to Disney+ this December!
Light Shop Keeper is a webtoon-based series by the same name that tells the story of six strangers who are battling a traumatic event from their past. They are mysteriously drawn to a light shop that is situated at the end of a seedy alleyway. These people have their stories to tell, and the light shop could hold the key to their past, present, and future.
Starring Ju Ji Hoon, who previously starred in Disney+’s series, Blood Free, takes the role of the vigilant owner of the light shop named Jung Won Young.
The series also features a powerhouse cast namely, Park Bo Young as a nurse whose life was changed forever following a near-death experience; Bae Seong Woo as a detective; Lee Jung Eun as a distraught mother, and Kim Min Ha as screenwriter Sun Hae.
Moreover, the stellar cast also includes Uhm Tae Goo, Seolhyun, Park Hyuk Kwon, Kim Dae Myung, Shin Eun Soo, Kim Sun Hwa, and Kim Ki Hae.
This eight-part series is adapted for the screen by Kang Full, who is also remarkable for his hit 2023 webtoon, Moving, and helmed by actor Kim Hee Won, who previously appeared in Disney+’s series, Han River Police and Moving. This marks his debut series as a director.
