SM Entertainment confirms Doh Kyungsoo will depart from the agency

Doh Kyungsoo, mostly known as D.O. will be leaving SM Entertainment but continue activities with EXO.

South Korean entertainment agency, SM Entertainment confirms that one of their artists, Doh Kyungsoo will be leaving the agency after being with them since 2012.

The agency statement says “The exclusive contract with Doh Kyungsoo will end in early November. After discussion with Doh Kyungsoo, we decided to continue activities as EXO with SM Entertainment, and acting and personal activities will be handled independently by a manager from the company.”

Doh Kyungsoo or fans may mostly know as D.O. has been a member of the boy group EXO since their debut in 2012. He served as one of the vocalists of the group and has also done solo projects when he released his mini-album, Empathy, and his 2nd mini-album, Expectation.

He has also shown his versatility by acting in movies and dramas. The artist’s notable movies and dramas include It’s Okay, That’s Love, Pure Love, My Annoying Brother, 100 Days My Prince, Bad Prosecutor, Swing Kids, Along With the Gods, and his recent sci-fi film, The Moon.
