A few prominent Filipino artists, Melai Cantiveros, Kathryn Bernardo, and Daniel Padilla, are also joining the upcoming 2023 Asia Artist Awards.
It was announced on October 18 that the three artists will also be joining the said prestigious awards ceremony happening at the Philippine Arena on December 14.
Melai Cantiveros, started her career in 2009 and named as one of the Philippines’ new-generation comedy queens and a social media comedy superstar.
The comedian serves as a host for the morning talk show ‘Magandang Buhay’ on ABS-CBN and ‘PIEnalo’ on Pie TV. In addition, she is about to release a comedy film called ‘Ma’am Chief’, which is her highly anticipated film of the year and is being filmed and produced in both Korea and the Philippines.
Meanwhile, Kathryn Bernardo an actress dubbed as the ‘box office queen’ as she earned billions of pesos from her local films.
Moreover, Kathryn was also named by Forbes Asia as one of the most influential celebrities on social media. She recently won the Outstanding Asian Star Award for her drama ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ at the ‘2023 Seoul International Awards’ held in Seoul while bagging the Best Actress award at the 2019 PMPC Star Awards for ‘The Hows of Us’.
Lastly, Daniel Padilla, known as the box office king of the Philippines, has had several successful works and received positive reviews from critics for his ability to bring to life various roles in various genres.
The singer-actor received multiple recognitions in the fields of TV, film, and music, including the Best Male Actor category at the FAMAS Awards and PMPC Star Awards.
