Dark drama “Vigilante” exclusive on Disney+ this November 8
When a violent criminal gets a light punishment after killing a woman, justice comes in the form of revenge. “Vigilante” tells the story of a child driven by a thirst for revenge for his mother’s unjust death. This all-new dark Korean drama is coming November 8 exclusively to Disney+.

“Vigilante” is based on the hit Korean webtoon of the same name by Kim Kyusam and CRG. It follows revenge-driven Kim Jiyong who is tired of seeing the legal system fail and letting repeat offenders free. Jiyong spends his earlier years becoming a star student at the police academy, while learning martial arts. He uses his experiences to pursue non-repentant repeat offenders and deliver his own chaotic justice. However when the media exposes him, he is forced to be on the run while still pursuing criminals.
Starring Nam Joohyuk (Start-Up, Twenty Five Twenty-One) as the vengeful vigilante Kim Jiyong. Yoo Jitae (Oldboy, Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area) as Jo Heon, a ruthless detective committed to stopping Jiyong at any cost. Lee Junhyuk (Stranger, Designated Survivor: 60 Days) as Cho Kangok. Finally, Kim Sojin (The Spy Gone North, The King) as Choi Miryeo, a broadcaster who exposes the Vigilante’s actions. “Vigilante” is directed by Choi Jeongyeol.
“Vigilante” will join a whole host of award-winning Korean content now available on Disney+. This includes “Moving”, about a group of South Korean spies working to protect their super-powered children from harm; and the recently released “The Worst of Evil”, about a police officer attempting to bring down a gang from the inside. Disney+ subscribers also have access to a whole library of endless entertainment, including other APAC Originals and global tentpole titles.
Stream the first two episodes of this eight-part series from November 8, exclusively on Disney+. #DisneyPlusPH #Vigilante
