Netflix confirmed on September 3 that Jung Hae In will be starring in its upcoming Korean original series titled D.P. which is acronym for Deserter Pursuit.
He will be working with other notable actors, such as Peninsula’s Koo Kyo Hwan, Designated Survivor: 60 Days’ Son Suk Ku, and The Fiery Priest’s Kim Sung Kyun.
The upcoming K-drama will revolves around the life of a young army private who later was assigned as a desertion arrest officer, finding himself in tangled situations.
Jung Hae In will play as An Jun Ho, a persistent army private assigned to D.P. who always follows the law.
While Koo Kyo Hwan will take the role of Han Ho Yeol, a corporal who leads the D.P. unit with free spirit yet has also a bad temper.
Then, Sok Suk Ku is Im Ji Seop, an elite first lieutenant who does not care of others but only about results, and do not support D.P.
Lastly, Kim Sung Kyun as the D.P. Unit Chief Park Beom Gu who shows good leadership despite regularly finding fault on Jun Ho and Ho Yeol.
D.P. will be directed by Han Jun Hee, who participated in the International Critics’ Week section of the 68th Cannes Film Festival in 2015, and will be produced by Lezhin Studio.
