‘Kingdom: Ashin of the North’ piques curiosity in main poster and second trailer
Netflix has released on the 22nd the main poster and the second trailer of the upcoming special episode of the Kingdom series titled Kingdom: Ashin of the North.
These materials draw excitement and curiosity to the viewers as it tells the backstory of Ashin, the woman whom the prince met at the end of Season 2 and the origin of the resurrection plant that causes the tragic events in Joseon.
The main poster features Ashin looking afar with a bow in her hand and showing her confident and charismatic look; Vengeance is coming is also a written phrase located at the top.
Moreover, the new trailer screams dark and intense plot, starting off with a scene of a tiger that might be a zombie attacking people in the deep forest.
The scene of young Ashin then appeared on the screen, telling her father about the resurrection plant, which can bring a dead person back to life.
Her father warns her about the said plant but she cannot be dissuaded due to her mother’s serious illness. She then decided to embark on searching the resurrection plant.
At the end of the almost two minutes trailer, adult Ashin calls out vengeance, which foreshadows an exciting plot of vengeance.
Kingdom: Ashin of the North starred Gianna Jun, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Si A, also directed by Kim Seong Hun and written by Kim Eun Hee.
