SM Entertainment shared teaser photos of Red Velvet for their cover of BoA’s Milky Way on August 19.
Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy and Yeri looked aesthetic and glowing on their flowery and pastel themed photos.
Fans were ecstatic seeing the girls complete again. Wendy even became a top trending topic on Twitter after the said release.
This also served as her first appearance after 8 months of being inactive as she recovers from her injury. Glad that she’s back safe and sound! (Welcome back, Wendy! We missed you so much.)

These photos are part of BoA’s 20th debut anniversary celebration entitled, Our Beloved BoA. Other artists who participated on doing covers were EXO’s Baekhyun, Gallant, Bolbbalgan4 and SM classics.
Prior to this, members were also busy doing their individual activities.
Irene and Seulgi released an album for their subunit with title track, Monster. Irene is set to star on her first movie. Joy participated on variety shows, sang OST for Hospital Playlist and teamed up with Crush for a song collaboration. Yeri even delighted fans with her own reality-variety show in youtube called Yeri Bang.
They have also done various endorsements and magazine covers for the past months.
