After finishing a zombie-themed drama, I tried looking for something to watch to lighten up the feels. So, I tried watching this Japanese drama since Takeru Satoh was the main lead.

“Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo” or “Love Lasts Forever” is a medical Japanese drama about a student named Nanase Sakura who meets Dr. Tendo Kairi during her high school days.

Nanase Sakura immediately falls in love at first sight towards Dr. Tendo which leads her to pursue a nursing course and to work in the hospital where Dr. Tendo works.

This J-drama is highly recommended for those who want to move on from the tragic ending of a certain drama or movie you have watched.

Listed below are the reasons why you should add this to your list.

1. The Storyline

The storyline is light and will give you more romantic excitement. While the story revolves around a romance between a nurse and a Doctor. There is no villain in this drama but instead, it shows how every character develops as the story goes by.

If you are a fan of Japanese dramas or movies. You might be familiar with Takeru Satoh. I admire Takeru ever since Rurouni Kenshin. And it’s my first time watching him in a romantic, comedy genre. Believe me, he really nailed his role bes.

3. Mone Kamishiraishi’s cute side

Mone shows her cute character as Nanase Sakura. She was named Warrior Chick for being brave in confessing her feelings to Tendo Kairi.

I don’t know if this really happens in real life but I somehow admire her bravery. Will Dr. Tendo be able to reciprocate her feelings towards him?

4. It’s a Japanese medical drama series

Since it’s my first time watching a J-drama, I wasn’t sure if I would love it given that I am not into medical drama.

But to tell you honestly, this drama never disappoints. The emergency operation scenes are just tolerable to watch.

Also Koi Tsudu has a 15 mins episode extras every after episode! (Called Mada Mada Koi Tsuduzu yo doko made mo)

    The ost is also superb!

Plus Koi Tsudu was the reason i became interested in medical terms.

  2. Lol, if this was your first jdrama, then you’re pretty good so far. I seriously DO NOT recommend watching Mischievous kiss.. It sucks. No Idea why its soo popular. Anyway that’s just my opinion!

  3. both Mischievous kiss and Love will last forever is supper popular in China, I love both of them, but I prefer the appearance of Tendo Sense compare with Irie Naoki~~~~but both of them are very responsible actors, hope to see more dramas in the future!!!!!!
