Set in the early Meiji era, Rurouni Kenshin is a story about a former assassin named Hitokiri Battosai. He is also known as Himura Kenshin (Takeru Satoh).
Himura Kenshin was a key participant during the Bakumatsu war. Eventually, he wanders as an ordinary swordsman who helps the government and the people in need. He does this to atone for all the murders he committed in the past.
The live-action movie graced the cinemas last 2012 followed by its sequels. Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno (2014) and Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends (2014). In these movies, music from One OK Rock serves as their official soundtrack.
