“Merry Berry Love” starring Ji Chang Wook and Mio Imada is coming to Disney+ this October!
A new romantic comedy that is set to make our hearts flutter this October on Disney+!

Set on a picturesque Japanese island, Merry Berry Love tells the story of a hardworking farmer, Karin Shirahama, as she pours her heart and soul into cultivating the best strawberries possible. Her life changes when Lee Yubin, a struggling young man from the city, arrives on the island. After a hilariously uncomfortable first encounter, the pair end up spending a lot more time with each other due to an unexpected misunderstanding.
Following his Disney+ series, The Manipulated, Ji Chang Wook is back on Disney+ and portrays the role of Lee Yubin in this series. He also previously starred in Disney+’s original series, The Worst of Evil and Gangnam B-Side. He is also remarkable for his roles in the dramas Empress Ki, Healer, The K2, Suspicious Partner, Melting Me Softly, and Backstreet Rookie, to name a few. This is his rom-com drama comeback after his drama Welcome to Samdal-ri, which was released in 2023.
Opposite Ji Chang Wook is the Japanese actress Mio Imada, who portrays the role of the strawberry farmer, Karin Shirahama. She is known for her projects: My Happy Marriage, Boys Over Flowers Season 2, Trillion Game, and Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom.
Merry Berry Love is helmed by Kim Soo Jung, who previously worked on Semantic Error and My Lovely Liar director Roh Young Sub. The drama is penned by the Divorce Insurance writer Lee Jae Yoon and developed and produced by CJ ENM, the studio behind Crash Landing on You and Queen of Tears, Disney, and co-produced by Nippon TV.
