Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Chae Min in talks to star in K-drama adaptation of a Japanese hit novel!

We may be seeing Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Chae Min in a drama together!

On February 10, Artist Company, Kim Hye Yoon’s agency, revealed that the actress received an offer to star as the female lead in the K-drama adaptation of the Japanese hit novel The Miracles of the Namiya General Store by Higashino Keigo and is currently reviewing it.

Kim Hye Yoon is remarkable for her roles in the dramas, Sky Castle, Extraordinary You, Secret Royal Inspector and Joy, and her hit rom-com series, Lovely Runner. She is currently starring as a Gumiho, Eun Ho, in No Tail to Tell alongside Lomon.

On the other hand, VARO Entertainment, Lee Chae Min’s agency, announced on February 6 that the actor received a casting offer to star as the male lead in the series.

He is known for his impeccable acting skills and is notable for playing the roles in Love All Play, Alchemy of Souls, Crash Course in Romance, See You in My 19th Life, Hierarchy, Crushology 101, and his drama, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, which received so much love from the viewers globally. Recently, he showed the new facet of his acting by playing the villain role in the Netflix series, Cashero.

The Miracles of the Namiya General Store tells the story of three thieves hiding in the abandoned place where past and present are connected, the Namiya General Store. As they communicate through letters asking for advice about their worries in life, they encounter the secret of their miraculous relationship that intertwines with their own lives.

It is expected to be about 10 episodes. Currently, the casting and global OTT release are under discussion.
