“Cashero” starring Lee Jun Ho, Kim Hye Jun, Kim Byong Chul, and Kim Hyang Gi is coming to Netflix!
A series that redefines the superhero genre with a realistic twist is coming to Netflix!
Cashero depicts the story of Kang Sang Woong who has a superhero whose strength is based on the amount of money he has. It is based on a webtoon with the same name.
Lee Jun Ho portrays the role of Kang Sang Woong, a former civil servant who discovers that he has a superpower that is tied to his wealth. Jun Ho recently starred in King the Land as a chaebol heir named Gu Won.
Kim Hye Jun who recently appeared in A Shop for Killers, will play the role of Kang Sang Woong’s analytical girlfriend Min Sook. She will show her steadfast support to Sang Woong and evaluate the feasibility of his superpowered endeavors.
Byun Ho In, a lawyer whose superpowers emerge in alcohol consumption and the leader of the Korean Superhero Association will be portrayed by actor Kim Byong Chul, who recently showed off his great portrayal of the role of Seo In Ho in the series, Doctor Cha.
Lastly, Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist star, Kim Hyang Gi plays the role of a fearless superhero, Bang Eun Mi (also known as Bbang Mi) her superpower activates with calorie intakes.
Cashero is penned by Lee Jane and Jeon Chan Ho, the writers behind the series, Sisyphus: The Myth, and will be helmed by Lee Chang Min the mastermind behind the dramas, Agency and Welcome to Waikiki.
Cashero is set to captivate Netflix audiences with its fresh take on superhero dynamics and relatable characters.
