Hwang In Youp reportedly in talks to make a special appearance as villain in Ji Chang Wook and Jun Ji Hyun’s “Human X Gumiho”

Hwang In Youp is making his way to his villain era!

On January 8, it was revealed that Hwang In Youp is reportedly in talks to make a special appearance in the upcoming drama fantasy rom-com series, Human X Gumiho, starring Ji Chang Wook and Jun Ji Hyun.

Human X Gumiho tells the story of a fateful encounter between a gumiho and a shaman. Jun Ji Hyun plays the role of Gu Ja Hong, a beautiful top actress and a gumiho, and Ji Chang Wook transforms into a gifted shaman, Choi Seok.

If Hwang In Youp accepts the role, this will be his first villain role in his filmography.

Hwang In Youp began his career in the entertainment industry as a model in 2017. The following year, he embarked on his acting career and starred in a web series, WHY. He rose to stardom when he played the role of Han Seo Jun in True Beauty. He is remarkable for his roles in the series, The Tale of Nokdu, 18 Again, The Sound of Magic, Why Her, Family by Choice, and recently made his special appearance as Heo In Gang in Dear X.

The drama is helmed by director Kim Jung Sik, who previously worked in dramas, No Gain No Love, and Strong Girl Namsoon, and penned by Doom at Your Service and The Beauty Inside scriptwriter Im Meari.

Moreover, Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook recently appeared in Tempest and The Manipulated, respectively. Hwang In Youp has an upcoming rom-com series with Hyeri in To You.
