XOHEE LOVED ONES in Manila: Unforgettable, premium fan experience for PH Sosamo with Han So Hee!

Korean actress Han So Hee from Nevertheless, Gyeongseong Creature, My Name, and The World of the Married, has finally met her fans here in the Philippines! 

Last September 13, Han So Hee was joined by Filipino Sosamos at the Cove Manila, the country’s top luxury destination at Okada Manila, for her first-ever fan meeting world tour, “Xohee Loved Ones.” It was indeed a special time she shared with the fans, where we created beautiful memories together.

As Han So Hee entered the venue, it was already evident how happy she was to see her Filipino fans again, taking her time to walk towards the stage and gazing upon the audience lovingly.

So Hee shared that she came straight from the Toronto International Film Festival in Canada for her Korean film “Project Y” before she arrived in the Philippines.

Starting with the “Xohee’s Awards” segment, the audience got a chance to predict So Hee’s answers before the fan meeting. Through this, they learned about who So Hee would choose as the best travel mate out of her previous roles (Lee Eun Su from “Soundtrack”), which character she would want to try playing (a psychopath), and what her favorite Filipino food would be (bulalo because it reminded her of Korea’s gomtang).

In the “FAN ART for Xohee” segment, various artworks made by Sosamos were shown to So Hee, where she recreated selected drawings by imitating the poses and props, which the fans loved because they got to see the actress try out different styles live.

“I feel like they draw better than I, and I see that the images they drew are filled with memories, so I’m really happy,” So Hee said.

As a gift for the event-goers, So Hee prepared a short film that she personally financed and produced. It was a meaningful way of showing how she views fans from her perspective, and it really highlighted her creative ideas and sincerity to repay their love and support.

Han So Hee then came back on stage with a bang as she revealed her dancing skills and a new side of herself by performing “Seoul City” by BLACKPINK’s Jennie and “Whiplash” by Aespa.

Followed by the “ALL About Xohee: YES or NO!” corner, the audience had a fun time trying to guess So Hee’s answers between two choices. This allowed the fans to know more about the actress’s personality, including how she’s a night owl, prefers texting over calling, binge-watching dramas over live broadcasts, working with a team rather than solo, and watches horror movies like “The Shining.”

Nine lucky fans also had the chance to get up close with So Hee during the “Drawing with Xohee” segment, where they were divided into three teams and had to draw based on the given words, with one member having to guess the keyword. This was an enjoyable moment for the players and the audience alike, as everyone saw So Hee doing her best in the game for the contestants.

Through the “Xohee’s Must-do List” segment, So Hee was able to read messages and requests that the fans submitted beforehand and respond to them on the spot. One of these was a fan’s wish for a selfie because she was leaving the country soon and might not be able to attend any more of the actress’s fan meetings. The crowd was pleasantly surprised when So Hee decided to come down the stage and go to the back where the fan sat so they could take a photo together. Another person asked for a hug from So Hee for their birthday, which she readily granted once again.

Meanwhile, Filipino Sosamos prepared hand banners saying, “Like butterflies and blooming forget-me-nots, we hold you close, always. Mahal kita!” and “Sohee, our constant in every season~” in the back, as well as a video project for So Hee containing emotion-filled fan letters and some clips of the actress behind-the-scenes.

Upon watching, Han So Hee was evidently touched and expressed her appreciation, saying that the fans were always by her side during difficult moments.

“Thank you so much for saying that I’m not alone. There were many times that I had to overcome struggles and hard times, but the fans were there to fill me up and not make me feel lonely and be with me,” So Hee said. 

To end the night, So Hee shared her heartfelt gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much for staying up and staying with me tonight at this late hour. And of course, for the loud cheers and energy you have given me, thank you very much as well. Today really will be an unforgettable day for me and my entire life.”

For the last time, she sent a message that implied she’ll be coming back. “We’re going to meet again, right? Until the next day we see each other again, stay healthy and always be happy, alright?” So Hee said.

The title of So Hee’s fan meeting tour contained the meaning of being like a return gift to her fans who gave her unconditional and endless love, as the fans are really the treasures in her life. True enough, the fan meeting gave Sosamos a memory that they are always going to treasure in their hearts.

It was our first time attending a fan meeting held in Cove Manila at Okada Manila, and we must say that the scenery and the ambiance of the venue are top-notch, it was breathtaking. The beautiful venue was filled with beautiful memories with Han So Hee, and our fangirl hearts are so happy.
