Manila, Philippines— The fast-rising K-pop group Itzy is back in the country for their fan meeting that happened on April 16 at the Mall of Asia Arena presented by Bench/Lifestyle + Clothing.
ITZY hyped and graced the crowd with one of their hit songs, ‘WANNABE’
Right after the performance, the program then shifted to a few games. The girls were really hyped and excited about the games prepared for them.
The game started with “Design My T-Shirt,” and they were given the liberty to put their own designs on the shirt in five minutes.
While working on their masterpiece, they gladly shared their thoughts about random things asked by most of their fans.
Ryujin shared that she liked ‘kwek-kwek‘ and would also want to try ‘balut’ if given a chance.
Yuna then shared that she wanted to visit ‘Boracay‘ as it is known to be one of the most famous beaches in the country.
These shirts were handed out to the 5 lucky MIDZYs attended the event.
The next game was the ‘Karaoke Challenge‘ with a catch. Some of the lyrics were actually tweaked in Tagalog. MIDZYs had a great time laughing and cheering for their favorites.
ITZY also had a chance to learn some Tagalog words through “Guess the Tagalog Word“, they learned words such as Bulaklak and Langit to name a few.
In addition, the crowd went wild as the next game involved some fans. “Not Shy Spot Choreography With Fans”— a showcase of how talented the MIDZYs were.
Fans got a chance to dance with ITZY on the beat of their famous songs. Selected fans were given Bench items as a prize.
Lastly, some lucky MIDZYs were called up on stage and got a chance to talk to ITZY for a minute. They had a chance to speak what was on their mind and made the heart of the girls flutter.
To make it more special, Filo MIDZY also prepared a cake and banners to celebrate Ryujin’s birthday.
The surprise doesn’t end there as MIDZY prepared a heartwarming video that showed the amount of love and support that they have from the Filipino MIDZYs.
The girls concluded the night performing “SNEAKERS.”
It was a short but sweet event personally made for the fans. ITZY expressed their gratitude for the love, support, and energy that the MIDZYs provided. They also promised that this event will definitely be not the last.

ITZY is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment and consisting of members Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yeji, Lia, and Yuna.
They debuted on February 12, 2019, with the release of their single album It’z Different.
