Crime thriller series, “Nine Puzzles” starring Kim Da Mi and Son Suk Ku is coming exclusively to Disney+ on May 21!
Following the debut of Unmasked and Hyper Knife, we have another crime thriller series to look forward to on Disney+!
Nine Puzzles tells the story of a serial murder case that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece. Yoon Ena was the only murder witness 10 years ago, but Detective Kim Han Saem is suspicious of her and believes she is the prime suspect.
Our Beloved Summer and Itaewon Class, Kim Da Mi, plays the role of Yoon Ena, who discovers the body of her murdered uncle next to a single puzzle piece. Uncertain of how she got to the crime scene and unable to answer any of the police’s questions, she quickly becomes the police’s prime suspect.
A decade later, she becomes a criminal profiler and will once again find herself caught in the middle of a series of murders, with each victim linked to a puzzle piece like the one from the night of her uncle’s murder.
Big Bet and My Liberation Notes star, Son Suk Ku, transforms into a tenacious and suspicious Detective, named Kim Han Saem. Kim Sung Kyun, who previously starred in Moving and The Fiery Priest, portrays the role of Yang Jung Ho, a Police Captain, alongside Junior Detective Choi San, who will be portrayed by Hong Bong Sik.
Nine Puzzles is helmed by Yoon Jong Bin, who previously worked in the series, Narco-Saints and the film, The Spy Gone North. It is penned by Tunnel and Navillera writer, Lee Eun Mi.
