Lee Jong Suk, Shin Min Ah, Ju Ji Hoon, and Lee Se Young confirm to star in “The Remarried Empress”
It’s finally confirmed! An upcoming fantasy romance series with star-studded cast members is coming on our small screens!
On April 14, it was announced that Lee Jong Suk, Shin Min Ah, Ju Ji Hoon, and Lee Se Young are confirmed to star in the upcoming webtoon-based series, The Remarried Empress.
The Remarried Empress tells the story of an intelligent empress of the Eastern Kingdom named Navier Ellie Trovi who agrees to divorce the emperor after finding out that he has a lover. She remarries and continues to live as an empress elsewhere.
Lee Jong Suk portrays the role of a prince of the Western Kingdom named Heinrich Alex Laszlo. Shin Min Ah will transform into an Empress named Navier.
On the other hand, Sovieshu, Navier’s ex-husband, will be portrayed by Ju Ji Hoon, while Lee Se Young will play the role of Rashta, a runaway slave who became Sovieshu’s mistress in the series.
The drama will be helmed by director Jo Soo Won, who previously worked in the dramas I Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio, and 30 But 17. The script will be penned by The Uncanny Counters writers, Yeo Ji Na and Hyun Choong Yeol.
Moreover, this series promises to set a new standard for the fantasy romance genre, which will captivate viewers across the world.
